Nathalie has recently taken over Hatties! She is so lovely and has done an amazing job at transforming the space, both inside & out! The food and coffee are delicious & the wide selection of cakes are homemade! It smells of fresh bread every morning and Nathalie provides such a warm, friendly atmosphere - I would highly recommend visiting!

We were staying nearby and stopped at Hatties for drinks and a sweet treat. The coffees and brownie were delicious and very reasonably priced. Nathalie was so kind and accommodating, and she gave us great recommendations for local walks and places to eat in the evening.

Cannot praise Hatties enough. Popped in today with my niece and daughter and again early on in the week with my son. Always so friendly and welcoming and loves to have a chat with my children. Delicious cakes and baguettes!

My business partner Matt and I have been visiting Hatties for the last four months since starting a job locally in Bassingbourn, and I honestly couldn’t rate Natalie and the work she does any higher. She makes every cake, sandwich, and baguette from scratch, and the menu is full of delicious options. Her prices are brilliant—far lower than other local bakeries—and you get so much more for your money, with the added bonus that everything is lovingly baked right there in the shop. We visited today and she was visibly upset about the recent fake reviews. These are clearly from people who have never stepped foot in Hatties. The shop is always full of regular local customers who can’t get enough of her food, which speaks volumes about the quality and care she puts into everything. If you haven’t been, visit Hatties for hot breakfast rolls, homemade cakes, and great coffee. Her BLT baguettes, bacon rolls, and peppered steak bakes are absolutely to die for. Keep up the amazing work, Natalie. We love coming in for a chat and our 10am grub! Hopefully we’ll pick up another job locally in Bassingbourn so we can keep this going!
